ZULIECO / BUYER GUIDE
Bagasse & Bamboo Food Packaging: Materials, Fluorine-Free Options & Composting
Compare bagasse and bamboo molded-fiber packaging, fluorine-free export options, biodegradability and compostability, with model-specific BPI, home-composting and food-contact documents.
What are bagasse and bamboo fiber containers made from?
The fiber portion of ZULIECO food packaging uses 80% sugarcane bagasse and 20% bamboo fiber, with water- and oil-resistant functional additives used in production. This fiber ratio is not the entire finished formulation. Molded pulp can form plates, clamshells, compartment takeaway containers, bowls, trays and cups. Confirm materials separately for accessories such as lids and holders. Select a model around the food, capacity, temperature and delivery conditions.
Browse containers, plates, bowls and trays →Fluorine-free formulations for export orders
We offer fluorine-free formulations for export orders. Specify the model, destination and buyer’s PFAS-related requirements so the formulation and supporting documents can be matched. No intentionally added PFAS, a not-detected result for specified analytes, total fluorine and organic fluorine are different statements. Methods, analytes and reporting limits should address the purchasing specification. Supply capability is not an absolute-zero claim for every PFAS across the catalog, and unrelated certifications do not replace the required evidence.
Biodegradable and compostable describe different conditions
Biodegradability needs a defined environment and timeframe. Compostability concerns additional requirements under specified treatment conditions. Industrial composting, home composting, ordinary soil, seawater and landfill are not interchangeable environments. We hold BPI commercial compostability and OK compost HOME certifications and can match products within their scopes. Model, color, printing and grammage restrictions follow the certificates and annexes. Local facilities must also accept the product; no universal degradation time is promised.
Review BPI and home-composting documents →Food-contact testing is separate from compostability
We provide US FDA-related food-contact testing, EU food-contact testing, China GB testing and a food-contact declaration. Match the tested sample, food type, temperature and contact time to the application, and check lids separately. FDA-related testing is not an FDA-issued product certification. BRCGS, ISO systems and BSCI audits address site management or social responsibility and do not replace finished-product food-contact or PFAS evidence.
Review food-contact and management documents →What should buyers confirm before selecting disposable food packaging?
Prepare the food type, portion size and weight, oil or liquid content, holding time, delivery conditions and any refrigeration, freezing or reheating requirements. Trial the candidate container and lid, then check barrier performance, closure, stacking and relevant evidence. Plant-based origin, fluorine-free formulation, plastic-free composition, recyclability and compostability are separate requirements. List each needed specification explicitly. For a proprietary structure or branded packaging, start an OEM/ODM assessment.
